主要从事我国季风降水和云过程的观测分析与数值模拟工作,开展了我国复杂地形区降水和云演变特征的精细化分析,并创新了高分辨率降水资料的应用方法;系统开展了数值模式对复杂地形区降水的模拟评估,揭示了模式在我国复杂地形区的关键偏差,提出了面向不同模式应用的模式评估指标;开展了气科院模式的改进工作;共发表论文30余篇,研究成果被SCI他引近300次。承担中国气象局高分辨率区域模式检验评估工作,研发面向强降水精细化预报业务的模式评估的方法并实现业务应用。先后获涂长望、谢义炳青年气象科技奖,入选中国气象局气象部门青年英才和中国科协人才托举计划,先后主持基金委面上项目和国家重点研发计划项目。
