主要数值预报检验及诊断技术研究，开展降水空间检验及近地面要素检验技术开发与应用，开展数值预报模式诊断技术研究，追踪定位系统性误差来源。建立数值预报诊断评估工具并实现推广应用。主持国家自然科学基金、公益性行业专项课题等课题，在核心学术期刊发表论文20余篇。
