薛海乐,理学博士,研究员,硕士生导师,现任职于中国气象局地球系统数值预报中心模式技术室/灾害天气国家重点实验室,于2019-2020年访问德国马克斯-普朗克气象研究所,入选2022年度中国气象局青年气象英才。2007年毕业于兰州大学大气科学专业,免试推荐到中国气象科学研究院攻读硕士,并于2013年在兰州大学获得理学博士学位。主要从事区域/全球数值模式研发和复杂下垫面条件下边界层和重力波研究。

先后主持国家自然科学面上基金(2项)、国家自然科学青年基金(1项),国家重点研发计划项目专题(1项)、中国气象局数值预报专项(1项)、中国气象科学研究院基本科研业务费专项重点项目(1项)。本人在研究工作之余,担任Journal of the Atmospheric Science, Environmental Research Letters, Journal of Climate, Journal of Physics, Theoretical and Applied Climatology, Atmospheric Research 和国内多家核心期刊杂志评议人,并已在在国内著名外学术刊物(JAS, QJRMS, JGR等)上发表论文20余篇,其中SCI收录论文10余篇。
