薛海乐，理学博士，研究员，硕士生导师，现任职于中国气象局地球系统数值预报中心模式技术室/灾害天气国家重点实验室，于2019年-2020年访问德国马克斯-普朗克气象研究所，入选2022年度中国气象局青年气象英才。2007年毕业于兰州大学大气科学专业，免试推荐到中国气象科学研究院攻读硕士，并于2013年在兰州大学获得理学博士学位。主要从事区域/全球数值模式研发和复杂下垫面条件下边界层和重力波研究。

先后主持国家自然科学面上基金（2项）、国家自然科学青年基金（1项），国家重点研发计划项目专题（1项）、中国气象局数值预报专项（1项）、中国气象科学研究院基本科研业务费专项重点项目（1项）。本人在研究工作之余，担任Journal of the Atmospheric Science, Environmental Research Letters, Journal of Climate, Journal of Physics, Theoretical and Applied Climatology, Atmospheric Research 和国内多家核心期刊杂志评议人，并已在在国内著名外学术刊物（JAS, QJRMS, JGR等）上发表论文20余篇，其中SCI收录论文10余篇。
